Today, Monday, Oct. 9, at Casa TABU in Via Melone, 2 – Milano Brera, the exhibition entitled “Lace and Design” begins, taking place as part of the 16th International Lace Biennial, organized by the Committee for the Promotion of Cantù Lace. The latter is one of the most prestigious and eagerly awaited events for enthusiasts and connoisseurs of this ancient art.
TABU, headquartered in Cantù, a historic manufacturer of natural and multilaminar wood veneers since 1927, inaugurated in 2022 Casa TABU, an elegant home where the best of its production is displayed. A space dedicated to beauty, to the pleasure of designing with wood, but which becomes at the same time an exhibition space of art, welcoming the narration through dedicated works, of the evolution of this noble tradition all of Cantur, which is in fact intertwined with the timeline of the world of design and the history of the territory from which it comes. It will be possible to visit the “Lace and Design” exhibition Monday through Friday during the opening hours of Casa Tabu. The exhibition will then close on Oct. 23.
