On September 30, 2020, the final of the IDEASxWOOD International Contest was held at the beautiful Terrace of the Milan Triennale. There were 462 projects, 38 of them winners, among young professionals and students.

The contest jury, chaired by architect Franco Raggi and composed of leading professionals in the fields of design and architecture, proclaimed the winners of the IDEASxWOOD event.

The jury this year also announced the winners of the Carpanelli Prize, a Desio-based company that is the Contest’s main partner and celebrated its 100th anniversary at the Final.

The winners of the IDEASxWOOD Contest:

1st PRIZE in the Professional Category: PIXEL by Mattia Fornari of Piacenza, Italy.

2nd PRIZE in the Professional Category: PRIVÉE by Annamaria Seminara and Maria Francesca Cicirielli of Como, Italy.

3rd PRIZE in the Professional Category: MUGR by Vittorio Pannozzo of Fondi (LT)

1st PRIZE of the Student Category: SYSMA by Stefano Bertolini of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.

2nd PRIZE of the Student Category: BREEZE by Ezgi Vural from Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy.

3rd PRIZE of the Student Category: LONDON FOG by Aigherim Urazbayeva from Milan Polytechnic University.

Carpanelli Award winners:

1st PRIZE in the Professional Category: DOLFIN by Geovanny Fernando Carignani and Luca Cotini of Milan, Italy.

2nd PRIZE in the Professional Category: THE SAILS by Ekaterina Shchetina of Milan, Italy.

3rd PRIZE in the Professional Category: FLAVIO by Nicola D’Apollo of Carbonate (CO)

1st PRIZE in the Student Category: GAE LIBRARY by Benedetta Pintus, Natalia Giribaldi and Ottavia Scarabelli from the Milan Polytechnic University.

2nd PRIZE in the Student Category: SKY WINE BOTTLE HOLDER by Federica Parini of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.

3rd PRIZE of the Student Category: LO STORTO by Sofia Favola Ruffinoni of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.
